According to the guest editors, this special issue is focused on: “New advances in remote sensing laser scanning systems, data sets, methods, and tools used to map and monitor vegetation from a spatiotemporal perspective, with a special emphasis on the prevention and mitigation of forest fires and the interpretation and analysis of the evolution of forest landscapes through the application of these techniques”.
